Volvo 850 Brandstof-/uitlaatsysteem
Een zoemende tussenpijp, een door roest aangetaste geluiddemper of een onregelmatige brandstoftoevoer zijn klassieke redenen om in de brandstof- en uitlaatlijn van de 850 te gaan graven. De dwarsgeplaatste 5-cilinder DOHC-motor wordt gevoed via brandstofpomp, filter en slangen, en de uitlaatgassen worden naar achteren geleid via spruitstuk, tussenpijp en demper – alles blootgesteld aan warmte, trillingen en wegenzout.
