Volvo 1800 Brandstoftank/Brandstofsysteem

Roestige benzinetanks, een gescheurde ontluchtingsslang en een brandstofpomp die de druk niet meer houdt zijn klassieke problemen bij een 1800 die stil heeft gestaan. Grote verschillen worden bepaald door motor en modeljaar: de carburateurmodellen (B18 en vroege B20B tot 1969) gebruiken een mechanische brandstofpomp, terwijl de 1800E/ES vanaf 1970 Bosch D-Jetronic elektronische injectie heeft – totaal andere pompen, tanksensoren en systeemonderdelen.
